Living Room

What a mess!!!

Hung a new door; hardest thing I did out of any of this. Primed walls plus ceiling ttwice and painted them. There is no wall behind paneling; merely strips of drywall, and so it wasn't cost efffective to pull it out and replace it all.

Ceiling was plaster, very damaged; if you poke it it tumbles down onto you. the tiles were like this under the suspended ceiling, I hadn't pulled any down at this point. The strips (I forget what they're called) were great to hang the drywall on.

SO CLEAN AND NICE!!!

Starting to mud the walls and ceiling.

I also hung the screen door. was a pleasure after the back door, which Maurice helped out some, but then I had to remove what he and I did; which was place the door butting up against the house, but then it left about 3.5" of an area to box frame on the inside... I went with pulling off the trim and putting the door inside the room and boxing it off outside.

The floor is those vinyl tiles you can buy (morocan granite), looks really great upclose. The white dot is a spec of dust in the air that caught the flash.
